Job Description

As a Video Editor at Webdew, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into captivating videos that resonate with our audience. We’re seeking a creative individual proficient in video editing software like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar tools. Your keen eye for detail, creative mindset, and ability to breathe life into content through seamless editing and visual effects will drive our video production efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and refine raw footage to create polished videos, ensuring they meet high quality and creativity standards.
  • Enhance video content with visual effects, graphics, and animations, elevating the overall viewing experience. The best reference/inspiration Imam Gazdhi/Ali Abdaal
  • Proficiently execute tasks such as camera tracking, motion tracking, rotoscoping, adding text/subtitles creatively, and compositing.
  • Collaborate closely with managers and stakeholders to understand the vision and goals of each video project.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
  • Optimize videos for YouTube and other platforms, considering factors like algorithms, SEO, audience engagement, and video performance analytics.
  • Manage and organize video assets to maintain an efficient and accessible library for the team.

Qualifications

  • Proven 3+ experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your previous work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound.
  • Strong hold on motion graphics, visual effects, and animation techniques that needs to be added in the videos.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a talent for visual storytelling.
  • Experience in creating engaging content for YouTube and podcasts is highly advantageous.

Shift Time: 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Location: Remote
